Faretti Biscotti Liqueur

Recently, while on the prowl in beautiful San Francisco, the panther happened upon a new tasty treat:  Faretti Biscotti Liqueur.  This is a delicious, sweet, dessert liqueur, made in Italy.  It is deliciously flavored with hints of nuts, citrus, and fennel.  Sadly, this product is not yet sold in Oregon but it can be ordered from California and shipped to your home.  It is amazing! 

We recently served it straight in a stemmed liquer glass to accompany our dessert of lemon cello cake.  The hum of "mmmmmm" resonated throughout the house as everyone who tasted it was in love.  Serve it straight, on ice, in coffee, with cream, or try this recipe:

Tuscan Sidecar
1 part Faretti
1 part Cognac
1 part lemon juice
dash of orange bitters
